Winter, December, and Christmas!

I am in love with winter, December, and Christmas! I'm actually one of those weird people who is more excited about someone opening the present I got them rather than my presents from other people. haha XD
My favorite thing about Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ (Even though he wasn't born on Christmas :)) and spending time with my family! One of the things we like to do as a family on Christmas is tell funny stories about our childhood. What is something your family does on Christmas?

Now that I'm talking about Christmas and Christmas presents. I went shopping with a friend just yesterday and bought a lot of Christmas presents (we were also being goofy weirdos haha). Now I can't tell you the presents I got for people because they read my blog... So I thought I would show the presents I got for myself and for my horses. I usually don't get presents for myself but I had enough money so I thought 'what the heck!'. I had planed to get some makeup for myself but my friend wanted to go to tractor supply first. I ended up getting all my stuff there. I am such a country girl! instead of make up I get a new knife and work hat! haha.
I thought I would include this picture I took because it is prefect at describing me. :D

The first was a new work hat! YAY! I really needed one. The next was a new knife which I got for only $12! It is so awesome! I love it! My friend needed one to so now we have matching knives. Haha. The same freind told me about this awesome "Hoofmaker" lotion by "Mane 'n Tail". This lotion can be used to help strengthen horses hooves (hince the name "hoofmaker" ). Of course I haven't had it long enough to tell how well it works (I love the feel of it) but my friend has really weak nails but her nails have been really strong since she used this lotion! Def worth a try! BTW it's only $2.99 at tractor supply! The shampoo came as a value pack with the lotion for only $5.00! I just couldn't say no! I am going to give my horse a bath this weekend using this shampoo and putting the lotion on her hooves too! Last but def not least is my bot egg knife. My horse Lady gets bot eggs really bad and just using razors wasn't working, so I got this. I have used one of these on a friends horse and it works so well! Best part it was only $3.49!

Hope you liked this haul! It was a lot of fun writing and shopping! XD Hope you have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
